Keeping up the mission for the free exchange of ideas to perpetuate the medium, Ed Wesly, Lab Manager and Research Associate for the Holography Workshops in the 1980's and 1990's organized the last two ISDH's at the Campus, with support from Dr. Michael Kash, former head of the LFC Physics Departmetn and one of Dr. Jeong's students in the '70's. This conference is open to all practitioners of wavefront reconstruction, from laboratory recording artists to academic gallerists and all those entrepreneurial in-betweens, from any and all parts of the World. Anyone who pays the conference fee is free to speak and/or show their work. The order of the speakers is determined by their order of registration. Everyone who desires to show their works gets a meter by meter bit of wall space in the Pop-Up Holo Gallery.
The conference will be held in the Lillard Science Center on campus, with an auditorium for presentations plus an exhibition hall adjacent to it for the display of holograms.
Daily meals in the College's Dining Hall plus Open Bar at the Social Hours are included as part of the conference fee,
which is $750, payable on-line or on-site. Registration will begin on April 1st, 2026.

All attendees are given the opportunity to describe the who, what, where, when and why of what they do in the field, either through classroom lectures or talks about their work hanging in the Pop-Up Holography Gallery in the Lillard Science Building at Lake Forest College.

The Lecture Hall in the Lillard Science Building boasts a state of the art media center to enable the presenter to project their digital work from their own computer or via a jump drive, as well projecting slides with a Kodak Carousel or an overhead projector.

Every participant can set up their wares on a tabletop or mount them on a 4 by 4 foot black velvet covered styrofoam board in another classroom in the basement of the Lillard Science Center. Everyone gets a single element LED lamp as part of the swag for joining this year's ISDH.

We're working with some of the best educators and experts in the world to bring you a wide range of courses on a variety of topics. Whether you're interested in art, science, or business, we've got something for you.

Pay the tuition for the whole conference here.
US $750.
